Non-Stop

Liam, like most toddlers I guess, never stops. It's one thing after another for about 30 seconds and then on to something else. He is working on his dribbling skills, it's quite cute:

Laundry and Bathtime all at Once

Liam took it upon himself to climb into the tub while I went into the other room to get his towel. Of course his diaper swelled up bigger than I have ever seen. To say he loves the tub is an understatement.

Happy Halloween

Liam (our little Phillies player - Chase Utley- specifically) had a busy day on Friday.
First, Nana brought him to my school in his costume and he ran through the hallways high fiving students. Here he is with Krista, one of my senior swimmers. I am dressed as a marathon runner - along with the other teachers in the Social Studies Department.

and here is Liam with Ashley, the other swim team captain. He sat on her lap and watched Sesame Street videos on the computer . . .

After a 2 hour nap Aunt Jac came by and we took Liam to Aunt DD's (my friend Denise) house for his first trick-or-treating experience. Aunt Jac showed Liam what she dressed up as at school today . . .
Then we made a quick stop at home to pick up the wagon and say hi to Dad, and it was off to meet the neighborhood friends for more trick-or-treating . . .

Here is the best photo of our attempt to get all 5 kids under the age of 5 to pose together . . .
Ava (4) is Dorothy, her sister Brielle (6 months) is Ragady Anne, Landon (3) is SpiderMan, Jenna (1 1/2) is a Kitty Cat, and Liam (1 1/2) is Phillies 2nd baseman Chase Utley

Liam wasn't so interested in going up to doors to get candy. He just wanted to run all over the place, across front yards and push his wagon. He would randomly sit on a curb and say "mommy" while hitting the grass next to him because he wanted me to sit with him.
Overall, the kids were out for about an hour and a half and no one cried or was injured. I would say that is a success!
Then we picked up Daddy and went to Grandma & Grandpa Scallon's for pizza.
Liam got to hand out candy to some trick or treaters, and I think next year he'll be a pro at the whole trick or treat thing!

Leaves are Falling

It's been so rainy the past couple of days so I am glad Liam and I got outside on Monday to rake some leaves. He has his own little rake, but mostly he swung it around like a baseball bat. . .
we raked up a big pile of leaves and Liam jumped right in . . .
Liam's cousins Maggie & Rachel are coming tomorrow for Halloween! He can't wait!

Chill in the Air

Liam is becoming less helpful when it comes to photographs. He is constantly interested in everything else and he's over the camera. So here's the best shot I could get of him in his cold weather clothes. He has on Uggs that one of my swimmer's got for him before he was born. He calls them his 'boots' and is much better at walking in them, than I am at walking in my Uggs.
New season means new clothes, and even though he's a boy I have fun dressing him up!
Don't tell Casey!!!

Scary Spongebob

On Friday night, Aunt Jac picked up Liam and brought him to a Halloween Party at a local elementary school that Jac's boyfriend was in charge of running. I was at swim practice, so Aunt Jac was in charge of taking pictures. Here is Liam playing soccer I am guessing . . .
. . .and here is the scariest SpongeBob that I have ever seen!
Obviously, Liam was a little nervous about getting too close to him so there is no picture of Liam with the loveable yellow sponge. Regardless, Aunt Jac said he had fun running around the gym and playing with the other kids. He kept trying to hug all the little girls.
(A little ladies man already - we're in for it)
