I spy Nana . . .

Mommy and Daddy had a busy busy Saturday - Mommy had a baby shower for her friend and then her swim team banquet and Daddy had a baseball game - this meant that NaNa took Liam for the entire day. Before she came over we were outside with the camera. When Nana pulled up I caught Liam's reaction in photos.

"I think I know who's car that is" . . .

"Could that be Nana? . . . "
"It is Nana!. . . "

"This is going to be a GREAT day!" . . .

Even though he sees her almost everyday he's still this excited to spend time with her.

Thanks Nana for all your help!

Orlando or BUST

Last Friday we hit the road and headed south for sunny Florida! Liam was an AMAZING traveler. We weren't sure what to expect on such a long journey, but he was a trooper and the DVD player paid for itself tenfold. . .

This little fish was happy to be swimming outside for a change and learned lots of new skills like swimming underwater. . .

bellyflopping . . .

Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat . . .

Meeting some Superheroes was Liam's favorite . . .

Visiting Downtown Disney. . .

Lego dragon . . .
We had a great time at Universal, Daddy's baseball team won lots of games, and we didn't have one drop of rain or cloudiness the entire time. . . and we survived driving to and from Florida without any issues or tantrums!

Happy 3rd Birthday Big Guy

Our Little Man turned 3 on Thursday! He started the day by waking up and telling me "I'm not your baby anymore" . . . Then he opened a couple presents and headed off to school to celebrate with his class and some Diego cupcakes. . . .

After school he opened his present from Mommy and Daddy - a big boy Diego Bike

And what Diego party would be complete without a pinata?

We were so excited to have all our family here to celebrate with - especialy Aunt Cate and Liam's cousins Rachel and Maggie who live in Maine - we're so happy they made the trip!

Scallon cousin Sandwich . . .

Grandpop playing with the BatCave that he got Liam . . . (Liam woke up at 6:30am this morning to play with it, and slept with the little plastic figures all night)

Blowing out his Birthday candles with some help from Daddy . . .

He loved all the attention . . .

Rough housing with Pop Pop . . .

Me and some big guy formerly known as my baby boy . . .
We love you kiddo - now stop growing up so fast!

Just Keep Swimming . . .

Today we headed to Harrogate to see Aunt Helen and MomMom and go for our weekly swim.

What's so funny, little fish?

Trying to catch a decent underwater photo is proving difficult, but I love the face in this one:

It's his game face . . . love it

Weekend Fun

Friday nights are our Pizza Nights at Grandma and Grandpa Scallon's house. After we eat pizza some type of shenanigans usually ensues, and Liam is always the instigator. This time he was walking around under a blanket and got Grandpa involved . . .

Grandpa under the blanket . . . On Sunday, we headed to Atlantic City for a little early birthday celebration with just Mommy and Daddy and Liam. . . Here are my matching boys . . .
We did some shopping and then had lunch at Rainforest Cafe on the boardwalk. Liam was talking about it all week and seeing Cha-Cha - the giant tree frog. When the frog came to our table to say hello, Liam was not so excited, but he had fun looking at all the other animals and being out with our little family.
and he looked pretty cool also
