On the Go

Liam, even with his lack of sleep these days, is still himself when it comes to running around nonstop. Before bed each night he likes to stand with his back to the door and tell himself "GO" and run across the room to the recliner and then back. He does this about 10 times. It's hysterical watching him say 'go' and then sprinting . . . Here he is taking a rest:
He also loves that he can reach the light switch and the fan controls in the family room. . . At night while Mommy and Daddy are trying to relax, Liam likes to make it a disco with the lights blinking and turn the fans on full speed - tons of fun . . .
. . . and the day wouldn't be complete without a few dives over the side of the couch . . .

And he still won't sleep at night!

Rough Night?

Liam has been cutting another tooth, and he has not been sleeping well, which also means, no one else in the house has been sleeping well. I won't capture myself on film in the morning, but here is Liam at breakfast on Sunday trying to function.
Poor Guy.

Fall BBQ

Tonight Casey, Liam and I went to a BBQ at my friend's house. She coaches at the Y with me and they had all of the swim coaches and their families over. Here is Liam with Sara on the deck swing. He almost looks like a doll on her lap (a very large doll). . .

He also had fun banging on a tin game box with dog bones . . .
Here I am with two other coaches in our matching fleece . . .

it was a great night for a BBQ!

Philly Zoo

We went to Philadelphia today to visit Uncle Adam at school. Aunt Jac joined us for the trip and it was a very rainy morning in Philly. . . we decided to go to lunch at Dave & Busters and wait out the rain. Here is Liam and Daddy racing . . .

When the rain stopped, we headed to the Philadelphia Zoo which was lots of fun. Uncle Adam and Liam checking out the Pumas . . .

They even had a barnyard area where the kids could run around with the animals. Liam had no fear of the goats and they were just his size . . .

In the "Big Cat Falls" area, Liam got to see his favorite animal - Lions. While he was standing in the viewing area one lion walked right up to him and there was just one thin piece of glass separating them. Liam didn't budge. The lion must have thought he looked tasty!
Here is the only photo of me and my little man at the zoo . . .
It was a very long day, and Liam was so well behaved without his usual 2 hour nap. . . he's fast asleep now and hopefully sleeps in a little for us . . . Mommy and Daddy are tired too!

It's The Great Pumpkin!

Today was a beautiful day so we thought we'd take advantage and get some pumpkins!
Casey, Liam and I headed over to Silverton Farms so Liam could pick his first pumpkin.
It was his first time on a farm and he loved being able to wander anywhere and everywhere.
Here are the boys taking in the fresh air. . .
They also had 2 goats and a sheep which Liam loved. I turned my head and he was petting the goat and wanted to let him out of the pen. . .

He found the perfect sized pumpkin that he could carry!

And then it was a long hike back to the car so Daddy found him a walking stick . . .
He also found a gourd that he liked. . .
A very successful afternoon excursion!

Mr. Fix - It - Sesame Style

Liam's favorite Sesame Street character is Ernie - he loves saying Ernie, anytime he sees a Sesame Street book or character he demands Ernie. It's nice that he's not another kid obsessed with Elmo, but do you know how hard it is to find Ernie toys???
I got lucky the other day and found this Sesame Street tool belt with Ernie as a screwdriver! So of course Liam loves that tool the best. Here he is getting ready to fix (more like damage) something in the house . . .
Yay! for the tough guy tool belt!
He was all ready to help Daddy and Grandpa Scallon install a new front door!

Library Kid

Sorry for the delay in photos and updates. I currently am without a camera (other than my cell phone). Here is a photo from last week when Grandmom Murray took Liam on one of his many trips to the library for story time and music classes.
